On Tuesday May 27, BUSD recognized and honored 52 Berkeley Adult School (BAS) graduates at an uplifting celebration of resilient students who proudly walked the stage. The graduates' ages spanned from late teens to those 50+. The closing words of our student speakers were powerful and inspiring.
“It’s never too late and you’re never too old to do something that inspires you.”
“It is a reclaiming, a resetting, and a rebuilding of my self-confidence.”

I am proud to be associated with the Berkeley Unified School District as an Adult School teacher at BAS. It is an honor to be associated with a school that is making such an important contribution to the community.
